Anna Lazareva - Metaphysical Body Landscapes
I spent my childhood at my grandmother's house in Romania, near the Carpathian Mountains. I felt a strong bond with the earth; the surrounding landscapes influenced my under- standing of our connection with the natural world. All being is whole, indivisible, infinite. We came from earth, live on earth and will return to earth. The undulations of the landscape mirror the curves of our bodies. When I grew up, my grandmother passed away and I felt the loss of my spiritual connection with nature.
To reconnect, I start to search again for landscapes in the body.
