Ithaca is a 35mm film work which explores the use of photography as therapy in the family environment, investigating the construction of self-identity in a domestic environment. This work has been a tool for self-exploration and gave me a stimulus and a trigger to start a natural conversation with my inner self and by understanding and accepting my family, I’ve come to understand and love myself.
